The story follows Thomas, an enigmatic man with a mysterious past who arrives at a small villiage and sets up shop as a doctor. It also follows Daniel, the town priest and leader of the monastary who feels the spiritual well being of the town is in his hands. |

Tincture of Fire Tincture is an old medical term. It refers to using a small amount of concentrated herb or plant extracted by soaking in alcohol. Creating a drinkable medicine. This story takes place in a fantasy version of Medieval europe. Religeon was real power in those days, equal or greater than any ruling monarchy. So naturally there was a war between various flavors of Christianity. The flavor that had the current Monarch's ear would convert, torture and kill "heretics" who followed any of the other flavors of Christianity, or any other competing religeon. |

| This project had various genesis. One of them was a story a judge told while I was on jury duty. How they would test for witchcraft by drowning. The innocent would drown, and a witch would float. In the unlikely event that someone actually floated, they would be burned. |
