This was the first game I ever worked on and my first steady professional cg artist job. I was noticed by the owner of FTL after winning second place in a CG animation contest.

A lot of long hours on this project, but I was young and it was good times. I wore a lot of hats, I did the art, about 90 percent of the dungeon and puzzle design, and some cut scene animation.
For Dungeon Master II Legend of Skullkeep we were working with a 10 year old game engine that the programmers were nursing along. Interplay came in and re did a lot of the artwork when they forced the programmers to move up to 256 color graphics. They were originally only 16 colors.
One of the innovations I brought was having everything outside fade to a fog or hazy sky color instead of black.
